Turnbridge Point is located on the banks of the tranquil Choptank River and in the heart of downtown Denton, on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Our sunny front porch looks out over the charming streets of Denton, while our terraced grounds provide ample seclusion for those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. The stately historic home was built in the 1860s and has been renovated to provide modern amenities, luxurious accommodations and gourmet provisions.
Each guest room at Turnbridge Point includes WiFi, cable TV, a clock radio charging station, bathrobes, an iron, and a hairdryer.
The library includes a large screen television, blu-ray player, a selection of movies, a fireplace, and an assortment of books. The parlor includes comfortable seating around a fireplace and access to the side porch. The dining room is furnished with cafe tables and has a coffee machine and mini fridge with a selection of beverages.
The sunny front and side porches include rockers with views of downtown Denton, while a side screen porch includes cafe tables to enjoy breakfast outside.
Comfortable seating under a pergola on the back patio surrounds a gas firepit with a view of the Choptank River.
A second more intimate patio offers seating beside a spring fed pond, and on the expansive lawn, loungers are available on a sun deck overlooking the river.
Guests can experience all the Eastern Shore has to offer in a single weekend. Turnbridge Point is less than 60 minutes to ocean beaches, and 35 minutes to historic St. Michaels on the Chesapeake Bay.
