Our bed and breakfast is located in the village of Snow Hill, where you can be as active or relaxed as you choose - thee are so many possibilities. The area is rich in history and natural beauty, with antiquing, kayaking, boating, beautiful beaches, nature preserves, cycling, swimming, fishing and golf al outside your front door.

The Riverhouse Inn is pet-friendly, too!
Snow Hill, Maryland, was incorporated in 1686 - a picturebook of architectural treasures. Take a walking tour of the village along old brick sidewalks, down picturesque streets, past more than a hundred homes that have passed the 100 year mark.
The towns of Chincoteague, Assateague, Ocean City and Crisfield, with its boats to Smith and Tangier Island, are only about 30 minutes away.
You can even rent a canoe or kayak just one block from the Inn to explore on the wild, scenic Pocomoke River. And the Chesapeake Bay is close by, too - perfect for sailing and motor cruising.
Want to play a round of golf? The Nassawango Country Club, one of a dozen in the area, will welcome you.
The River House Inn Bed and Breakfast has four guest buildings in a lovely rambling setting, covering more than two acres of rolling lawn that leads down to the river. We offer modern amenities, along with fireplaces in spacious guest rooms, as well as plenty of porches to relax on.
All of our rooms have air conditioning, queen-size beds and private bathrooms. We include a full breakfast in the room price, as well as complementary beverages.
Have a boat? You can tie up at our waterfront at no charge while you are our guest.
