We specialise in walking and hiking holidays. A short walk through the forest will take you to a beautiful little cove which is safe for swimming. Bellatrix is set in mature gardens with a super view of Gour Mountain. Rita who is a Mountaineer offers great advice on local hikes and also offers guided hikes to suit all levels of ability. We are an Eco friendly b and b and your shower is powered by the sun.
We have a variety of room options to choose from, all suitable for women travelers of every description.
There is lots to see and do on The Beara Peninsula. Try some cycling, horse riding, kayaking... We are about a ten minute drive from the Tibetan Buddhist Centre, Dzogchen Beara. A must visit and stunning location.
Bellatrix is a great holiday destination for couples, singles, seniors and groups. The Peninsula has so much to offer. We have a minimum stay of two nights but you won't regret a longer stay! The mature gardens at Bellatrix create a very relaxed environment to enjoy some time winding down and slowing down.
Rita is a Shiatsu Therapist, trained in the tradition with a Japanese Master and also in Seiki Soho work. She offers guests at Bellatrix a reduced rate for treatments.
