More than just a room in a "Bed and Breakfast", we offer an entire Japanese House as your accomodation! Our unique "Vacation Rental" is located on a private property in a beautiful setting surrounded by water gardens, foot bridges, meandering paths and a gazebo.

We are ideally situated between the town of Sonoma and the City of Santa Rosa. Kenwood is 50 miles northeast of San Francisco, 40 miles east of Bodega Bay and the ocean, and 30 miles west of Napa. Besides being less than 5 minutes away from many wineries, we are also within 5 miles from the historic Jack London State Park in Glen Ellen, as well as surrounded by the gorgeous Annadel and Sugarloaf Ridge State Parks.

The original owner of the Teahouse lived in western Japan for several years. He was enchanted by the people and its culture and upon returning to the States, brought back two Japanese carpenters from Ishikawa Prefecture to construct an authentic Teahouse. The attention to detail can be seen throughout this exquisite architectural wonder.
