We offer quiet lushly landscaped garden retreats, and comfortable newly renovated rooms, unmatched by any other gay hotel.  Wireless internet is available free to our hotel guests, and for those traveling without their laptop our expanded office space offers free high speed internet access. Our private sun kissed pool deck is ideal for nude tanning and enjoying a lazy day with friends. The Windamar also offers a real taste of Fort Lauderdale Florida as residents of the community are welcome to stop by for a day pass to enjoy the gay hotel atmosphere, giving our guests the opportunity to meet locals as well as other Windamar guests.

Our heated secluded clothing optional pool is open 24 hours a day. The heated pool is kept at a constant 90 degree temperature making nude swimming comfortable all day and all night. Our brand new video lounge offers an intimate indoor setting for taking a break from the sun. The video lounge also houses lockers for our day pass guests, making us unique amoung the gay hotels and guest houses in Fort Lauderdale.

The Windamar is one of the few truly clothing optional properties in Fort Lauderdale.  We don't just offer nude swimming or clothing optional areas, our entire resort is comfortable and private for the true nudist or naturalist.   We like to think of ourselves as a clothing tolerated resort, not just clothing optional!
