" GAY PROVINCETOWN BED AND BREAKFAST IN THE HEART OF PTOWN "
It was the "white winds" that brought sailors back to home port in the days when Provincetown was a thriving commercial fishing village. Friendly, helpful winds that would facilitate navigation back to the harbor were given the name "white wind". Today it's our friendly, comfortable atmosphere that brings guest back time and time again to the gay-owned The White Wind Inn Bed & Breakfast. Isn't it time to let us help you navigate the perfect Provincetown getaway? Framed by a unique stone wall, built from ballast of trading ships, The White Wind Inn Bed & Brekafast has a majestic presence on Commercial Street. Balcony rooms offer private viewing points of town. Relax in our fireplace rooms, some with water views, for a cozy spring, autumn or winter stay. For the comfort and enjoyment of all of our guests there is a "great room" with a fireplace and grand piano. The perfect place to unwind, visit with friends, relax! The White Wind's veranda that overlooks Commercial Street, across from Provincetown Bay, is a favorite. There is no better place to take in the sites that give Provincetown so much character. We were fortunate to make Provincetown our home in April of 1998 - our names are Rob and Michael, owners of the inn. We, along with our black lab Ebony, so enjoy meeting the many guest from around the world that have chosen The White Wind as their home away from home when visiting Provincetown. Truly a unique place, Provincetown is a relaxing, beautiful vacation destination and a year round community that thrives on diversity. As an owner run business, we take extra care to insure that your stay is most enjoyable so that whenever you think about visiting Provincetown your first call is to The White Wind. Simply, that is our goal. The bed and breakfast inn is equipped with the many modern amenities that today's travelers are looking for but we have taken care to maintain the warmth and charm of the original home which dates back to 1845. Each room is tastefully decorated with antiques, artwork, stained glass and other accents that make them unique. There is a 5 night minimum required throughout the "summer." Minimum stay requirements and "summer" rates apply to:
