HISTORIC LONG ISLAND BED & BREAKFAST
Welcome to Wells House B&B, an historic Long Island bed and breakfast built in 1859. Our Long Island B&B was recently renovated, with meticulous care for its historic integrity.
Wells House B&B was built as an Italianate sea captain's home, and is listed in the National Register. Our historic home boasts original marble fireplace mantles, wide plank floors and a red mahogany curved banister.
Relax behind our iron gates amid a Victorian ambiance and peacefully secluded grounds, where you'll find shade trees, flowers, a stone patio and two private covered porches.
Each of the window sets were removed and worked tirelessly by hand; over 80 windows were restored and as they always have been when no screws were used. And the Wells House's original wide blank pine floors are in amazing condition and just beautiful to behold.
Each of our guest rooms features a queen bed, walk-in closet, provate bathroom, and comfortable mattresses that will put you to restful sleep every night.
Greenport is a great place to visit, with many local activities and things to see nearby. Don't miss Annual Greenport Maritime Festival each September. Here are some other activities in the area:
Island's End Golf & Country Club: a semi-private course located in the heart of Wine Country
Pelican Charters: a captained charter aboard a brand new Maine Cat 41 Pelican operating out of Greenport, Shelter Island, and Sag Harbor.

Vintage Tours: Guests of Wells House are picked up and dropped back off.
