Welcome to the Village Inn of Woodstock! Our 1899 Woodstock VT bed and breakfast is conveniently located in the heart of Woodstock village – just a short walk from numerous art galleries, wonderful shopping and dining, and all that central Vermont has to offer.

With convenient access to nearby Quechee, Barnard, Hanover, Killington, Bridgewater, and White River Junction, The Village Inn is close to many central Vermont attractions and activities.

Our luxurious accommodations include a two-room suite and seven pampering guestrooms. Lodging amenities include a three-course gourmet breakfast, some rooms with spa tubs and fireplaces, all with luxurious linens and gorgeous decor. Relax and enjoy our guest tavern, seasonal gardens and front parlor and porch.

Lovingly treasured over the years, our beautiful Vermont bed and breakfast features exquisite attention to detail that whisks you back to a more elegant time. Original oak wainscoting and moldings, ornate tin ceilings, and cranberry glass lamps mix with stunning chandeliers, custom heavy draperies and hand-printed Bradbury and Bradbury wallpaper added by owners/innkeepers David and Evelyn Brey.

Yet this painted lady is anything but stuffy! You’ll notice David’s whimsical art pieces hanging alongside the more traditional paintings of his mother – Susan Brey. And, chances are our furry innkeeper, Spanky, will scamper between your legs sometime during your stay.

Our goal is to help you to relax away from your workaday world. Kick back in the Victorian parlor, enjoy a cocktail in the tavern, curl up with a novel on the porch or in the shade garden. It’s your time away, so let us help you make the most of it!

POLICIES

Reservations:
We require a deposit equal to 50% of the quoted rate on stays of two or more nights, and 100% on one night stays. You may send a check, or use a credit card to secure your room.

Cancellation:
We will be happy to return your deposit, less a $25.00 cancellation fee, if you provide more than 14 days notice of your cancellation. Within 2 weeks, and up to 48 hours before your arrival date, we will refund your deposit, less a $25.00 service charge, if we can fill the room that we have reserved for you. If you cancel within 48 hours of your arrival date, you will lose your deposit and be charged for the entire stay. Early departures are treated as a cancellation. Longer notice is required when you, or your party, reserve more than one room.

Check-In:
Check in time is between 3 and 5 p.m. If you are unable to arrive during check in time, arrangements must be made in advance since we lock the door at night and if we leave the Inn. Without reasonable notice, arrivals later than scheduled are subject to release of the room, and/or liability for the full cost of the reservation. Check in after 10 p.m. will be refused, and considered as a cancellation.

Check-Out:
Check out time is 11a.m. Because we need to prepare the room for the next guest, late check out is not possible. You are welcome to leave your car in our parking lot if you would like to spend some additional time walking around the village after check out.
