This authentic New England bed & breakfast inn in the Berkshires Region was built in 1771. We have reflected the B&B's colonial beginnings in the furnishings and retained its special ambiance, while providing modern amenities for your comfort. Stenciled wallpapers and Oriental rugs in the public rooms compliment the Inn's maple floors and Federal architecture.
All of our thirty-two Guest Rooms are individually furnished with country antiques and reproductions. All rooms have telephone with voice mail, 20" or 25" TV with VCR, and CD player alarm clocks, and private bath, most with whirlpool tub, including hair dryer and magnifying mirror. Many guest rooms have a four-poster bed with a canopy, and some have a working fireplace. Our complimentary Video Lending Library contains a large collection of movies that you may enjoy in your room. The Village Inn is smoke-free.
Good food goes with good company, and at the Village Inn we strive to make each meal memorable. During the Summer and Fall and on Weekends, begin your day with Belgian waffles, a farmer's omelet, or eggs Benedict with a glass of champagne.
Enjoy a traditional afternoon English tea on Saturday with homemade scones and Devonshire-style clotted cream. Dine by candlelight in our romantic Dining Room and savor our chef's regional American cuisine. Our menu is full of delicious items to delight your palette.
In the winter, ski on nearby cross-country trails or mountain slopes. Then, snuggle up by a crackling fire with a mug of mulled cider or settle in the Common Room for reading or a game of backgammon. Maybe you'd like to borrow your favorite movie from our complimentary Video Lending Library and enjoy watching it in the privacy of your own room.
In the spring, stroll through nearby parks and explore picturesque back roads or take the relaxed approach and enjoy the riot of peonies and lilacs from a rocker on our porch.
Our room rates include use of our Video Lending Library. We serve a full breakfast in the summer and fall and on all weekends. A continental breakfast is served mid-week in winter and spring.
The restaurant serves a full breakfast menu, a traditional afternoon English tea on Saturday, and candlelight dinners (except Monday) all summer and fall and on weekends all year.
NEW Amenities!
*Telephone System- All of our guest rooms now have voice mail and an automated attendant, which allows callers access to a guest rooms 24 hours a day. Each guest may record a personal message on the voice mail on their own extension.
Large Screen TV’s: All Superior and Standard Rooms have 25" color TVs (enclosed in an armoire) and all Economy rooms have 20" color TVs, all connected to our own satellite system, providing digital quality while giving guests access to all major channels.
VCR’s: Each guest room has its own VCR and we provide access to our extensive Village Inn Video Lending Library of classic movies as a complimentary amenity to all of our guests.
Whirlpool Tubs: 25 of 35 rooms have tubs with whirlpool jets.
A room tax of 9.7% is additional
On holiday weekends there is an additional $10 charge per night.
A $30.00 per-extra- person charge is added to the double occupancy rate.
A 30% discount is applied mid-week. Continental breakfast is served.

POLICIES
Reservations:
Full advance payment within 5 days of your reservation request is required to confirm the room. For advance reservations over weekends in July and August, and over holiday weekends throughout the year, we request a minimum stay of 3 nights. For other weekends of the year, we request a minimum stay of 2 nights. Children over 6 are welcome. Sorry, no pets. Reservations for July and August are taken beginning on March 1.
Cancellations:
If confirmed reservations are canceled at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, we refund 100% of the advance payment. If confirmed reservations are canceled less than 30 days but more than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, we refund 90% of the advance payment. If confirmed reservations are canceled less than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, we issue a lodging voucher for the full amount of prepayment. This voucher is valid for one year and is transferable. Guests with confirmed reservations who cancel on the day of arrival or during their stay, or leave early, receive neither a lodging voucher nor a refund.
