Villa David Bed & Breakfast is centrally located in Old Town PV, an authentic Mexican neighborhood within easy walking distance of all the finest attractions of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The old world hacienda style mansion is built around a central courtyard in the area called "gringo gulch". The house is on the hillside overlooking the beautiful Bay of Banderas and built in the open-air style to catch every mountain and bay breeze.
Villa David is the only gay bed and breakfast located in the historic colonial or "old town" section of Puerto Vallarta. We are also the closest gay property to most of the gay bars. A short walk through the colorful cobblestone streets takes you past the former homes of Liz Taylor, Richard Burton and John Huston.
Villa David has a comfortable home-like atmosphere. The house is built around a lush green courtyard centered with a beautiful brick and tile pool that was built around an existing old cut stone fountain. The courtyard is planted with Birds of Paradise, orchids, bougainvillea and Night Blooming Jasmine and has a brick terrace that is a great place to sit and read, play games or just talk.
There are many common areas to socialize and plan the night's activities with other guests. The living room and dining room have only three walls. They are open to the courtyard so you get the feel of living outside.
The living room has a television and VCR with a collection of tapes, we also have a small library there.
The dining room where breakfast is served in a style you deserve on antique china, linen napkins, fresh fruit, juice, rolls, pancakes, or french toast or scrambled eggs and home fries, coffee and tea. This is a great place to talk with other guests and plan the activities of the evening.
Villa David has ten bedrooms, all with private baths. They are in varying styles. Six have balconies and are built in the Mexican style. Two of these rooms have huge round tubs with domes and cupolas, the other four have hand made tile murals on their shower walls of seahorses, mermaids and other forms of aquatic life.
Four of the bedrooms are just finished. They are of a more modern nature if the Mexican style isn't what you are looking for. All rooms have ceiling fans. Coupled with the mountain and ocean breezes, they provide lots of ventilation and breezes.
We have one room with two double beds and hand carved headboards of Primavera wood. They are of horse heads and are almost works of art in their own right.
The other rooms have either queen or king sized beds. Both master rooms have king sized beds. Some rooms have an additional twin bed if you are travelling with a companion and prefer not to share the same bed. Of course all are subject to availability. Quality sheets and towels are provided for your comfort.

Reservations:
To confirm a reservation, a 25% deposit or one night's stay is required, whichever is greater. The remaining balance is due upon arrival except for Holiday reservations. Holiday balances are due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Reservations made less than eight (8) days prior to your scheduled arrival date must pay in full when reservation is made.
Cancellations:
If a cancellation occurs, the deposit is not refundable. For summer season (May 1st through October 1st), if cancellation is made greater than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival datel, we can refund the deposit minus 15% of the reservation total. All other reservations are subject to the full rate upon any cancellation.
