Twin Gables Guest House is a Woodstock landmark, known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and charming ambiance.

Within walking distance to most shops, galleries and restaurants of the Woodstock village, Twin Gables offers nine affordable, cozy guest rooms, each with it's own unique charm and personality.

All rooms, as well as the common parlor area for sitting and relaxing, are decorated with period furnishings and original art work by local and global artists. And, for the convenience of our guests, WiFi is available in every room.

Twin Gables has an established reputation as one of the most popular and favorite places to stay in Woodstock for over a century.

People come from all over to explore this "most famous small town in the world" and experience its peaceful charm and tranquility. And a stay at Twin Gables, the oldest and continuously run guest house in Woodstock, is a lovely integral part of that experience.

A 19th-century structure, Twin Gables first became a guest house in the 1920's when artists Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Daibler purchased the house at the height of Woodstock's first flowering as a center for creative people--when the young Byrdcliffe Art Colony and Art Students' League Summer School were just part of a diverse milieu attracting free-spirits and bohemians from around the world.

The architecture and furnishings create an ambiance that revives the relaxed, easy living of that time. Almost a century of quality service and hospitality in our immaculate basic amenities home has gained us a respected reputation for comfortable and affordable accommodations.

With our many artist friends who contribute to both Twin Gables' permanent and rotating art exhibits, our guest home still invokes the spirit of its original inception.

POLICIES

Cancellation:
Cancellations anytime 2 weeks prior to your arrival date will be charged a service fee. If you cancel within 2 weeks prior to your arrival date and your room cannot be re-rented , a one night room rate will be charged. If it is re-rented the service charge is applicable. All cancellations will be charged to the credit card given at the time of your reservation.

Check-In:
Reservations are held until 4:00 PM, unless guaranteed late arrival is requested. At check-in guests must show ID, Submit credit card and sign charge slip.

Check-Out:
Check-out is a prompt 11:30 am. Additional time can be purchased.

Pets:
We don not accept pets.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
