The Turret House Bed & Breakfast was built in 1906 by a Kansas carpenter and remained in the same family until 1991 when it was purchased by the previous owners who painstakingly restored the home to its original Victorian beauty. Under the new ownership of Brian Pforr and Jeff Wilkins, the partners have added their own personal touches and design to create a unique traveling experience. Each of the five guest rooms features its own theme and offers a private bath with claw-foot tub and shower. Jensen "Real Flame" fireplaces are located in each room to allow our guests to enjoy a romantic bedside fire on those cool evenings. Other amenities include televisions with "DirecTV," fluffy bathrobes to cozy up with your favorite novel and free passes to nearby Gold's Gym. Internet access is also available. In the morning, guests may enjoy an expanded continental breakfast buffet in the formal dining room. Your hosts, Brian and Jeff, created and owned the Footbridge Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, where they learned the art of bed and breakfast hospitality. They are also career flight attendants having traveled the world. Throughout their journeys, they learned what guests really enjoy and know how to make your stay one you'll remember. The Turret House B&B is a pet friendly inn and our own mascots, Alli, Waldo and Dayton would love to have other pet friends visit them. For those guests who wish to enjoy some sight-seeing or dinner, we offer pet-sitting services for an additional fee.
