Our cozy West Seattle vacation rental is within easy walking distance of stores and restaurants, just ten-fifteen minutes from Downtown Seattle by car, and convenient to the airport and bus lines. With a full kitchen, lots of room, and a back yard to relax in, Sweet Orange is the perfect home away from home!

Unlike an impersonal hotel, at Sweet Orange you'll enjoy a personal experience in a wonderful West Seattle home, in a clean, beautiful quiet neighborhood.  The home has two separate units on different floors, or if you need more room for a larger group or family, you can rent the entire house.

The Master Bedroom of the upstairs suite has an adjoining enclosed sun porch with distant Puget Sound views. Each bedroom has organic, latex mattresses (purchased this spring) and high quality, natural bedding, linens and pillows.

The sun porch which is entered through the French doors from the Master. The couch is a twin-sized pull-out bed. This space offers a cozy spot to watch the flat screen TV.

The bathroom includes luxurious, thick, plush towels and organic soaps. The galley kitchen is fully appointed and well-stocked. There's also a shared laundry room available for guest use.

The owners live close by, in case you have any questions or issues.

West Seattle has seen an influx of new gay residents in recent years, and boasts a large lesbian community. Historically a bedroom community for the nearby steel mill, West Seattle has seen a resurgence in recent years, as new residents spruce up the houses in the neighborhood.

There's a ferry close by for trips to Vashon Island and the beautiful, natural Olympic Peninsula. We're just ten minutes from Alki Beach by car, where you can enjoy some fantastic views of Downtown Seattle.
