Welcome to Stuart Avenue Bed & Breakfast - we'd love to share our house with you, and want you to feel comfortable. Our furniture includes some beautiful antique pieces, and we encourage our guests to use them, while some of it is just plain comfortable.
Our Kalamazoo B&B offers large guest rooms with private bathrooms, televisions with cable, DVD players, microwave ovens, coffeepots, and refrigerators. Each of our beds is topped with premium mattresses and a selection of pillows to help create a restful haven from a day of exploration, adventure, theater, music, or any of the many local activities that bring visitors to Kalamazoo.
Our guestroom decor ranges from traditional to not-so-traditional, from Victorian to contemporary to casual.
If you'd like, you can reserve the entire third floor as a suite - it's ideal for families or larger groups.
We also offer rooms in our Carriage House for additional privacy.
Our second floor in the Carriage House is available for extended stays: two weeks or more - a comfortable suite at a competitive rate.
We encourage our guests to use the first floor parlors, porch, and the garden. During any season, you'll find a comfortable place to start your day with cup of coffee and a newspaper. Our Kalamazoo B&B was originally built by a publisher of Kalamazoo's early newspaper, and we still value the old-fashioned newspaper.
We strive to add "the little things" that will make your stay here special, including providing a wonderful breakfast every morning. We post our menus daily and they vary with the seasons and what's fresh at the local market or in our garden.
If you want a hearty breakfast (that you didn't have to prepare), or need fortification for a day full of sight-seeing, shopping, athletics, interviewing, or even work in Kalamazoo. Or maybe you'd rather have something fresh and light to start your day. Whatever your preference, we're sure you'll find something to please you at the Stuart Avenue Bed & Breakfast.
