Stone Mill Suites Bed & Breakfast, originally a cold storage facility built from local limestone quarried fromk nearby cliffs, combines history with modern convenience.

Originally built in the 19th century, our stone building has been completely remodelled, but retains the original clay ceilings, high wood ceilings, and pipe stair railings.

Each of our guest rooms has a separate theme, related to the local history charm of the Lanesboro area. Rooms have iron-claw fireplaces, double whirlpool bathtubs, microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffee makers, DSL internet access, and TV's. We welcome families with children.

Bring your bike with you when you visit - we have safe bike storage, and can help you if you need to rent recreational equipment. We're just a block away from a seventy 70 mile paved bike trail and Root River.

Reservations:
A two-night minimum will be required on stays that involve Friday and / or Saturday nights Memorial Day weekend through October. This is due to a state law requiring seasonal-recreational property tax classifications, (Stone Mill Suites classification), to acquire 60% of their business from stays that are two or more nights. Rates include 2 adults per room.

Deposit:
Rooms need to be guaranteed with a credit card or advance deposit

Cancellation:
Cancellations are requested 3 days prior to the date(s) of stay and will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made within the 3 day period of the stay then 1/2 of the first nights room rental and taxes will be charged.
