Come stay at Shaw Street in Little Italy - OStay for Awhile B&B is our Victorian home in one of Toronto's favourite downtown neighbourhoods. From here, you can walk a block south to Trinity-Bellwoods Park. Just one block north you'll find some great Sicilian gelato (ice cream). And the area is filled with great outdoor cafes and restaurants where you can watch all the people passing by.

We're also less than 1/2 an hour on foot from the University of Toronto, a pleasant walk through the Kensington Market and Chinatown. You can also catch a streetcar to the University in just 10-15 minutes. The streetcars also run to Eaton Centre, and the new opera house.

We also welcome travelers coming to Toronto for surgery or medical treatments. We're just 10 minutes by taxi or streetcar from Princess Margaret, Mount Sinai, Toronto General or Toronto Rehab.  Or if you have the time, it's a good 1/2 hour walk (and the Royal Ontario Museum is just ten minutes from there).

After a long day exploring the Toronto area, come back to your comfortable room to relax - the B&B is snug in the wintertime, and cool in the summertime. Or enjoy the living room, where you can play the piano, or read a good book by the fireplace. In thhe summer, you can also stroll through our wild English garden behind the house, a shady oasis with a hammock swaying under a large, mature cedar tree.

Each guestroom has a double bed, table, book shelves, and a cozy rocking chair. In the living room, you'll also find a fireplace, piano, high ceilings, and beautiful hard-wood flooring.

If you need to keep in touch with friends back home or with your business contacts, you'll enjoy the free wifi intermet access we offer.

Guests staying more than 2 weeks are welcome to use the kitchen as needed.
