The Shorecrest Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by the waters of Long Island Sound and an inlet of Shelter Bay, and is perched atop a beautifully landscaped acre of flower gardens, fish ponds and lounge chairs where guests can relax while looking out over the water.

Shorecrest Bed & Breakfast offers two private beaches, one on the Long Island Sound and the other on the inlet, both for guest use. Our beach on the largest inlet on the North Fork, the Arshamomoque, is also a great place to launch kayaks, canoes or paddle boards. And our Long Island Sound beach is less than 500 feet from the Inn, down a private path, and includes a great spot to watch the sunset while you relax in Shorecrest's own Adirondack chairs with a bottle of wine.

Originally built in the mid 1800's as a summer house for a wealthy family, the Inn still has its original grandeur and charm, with ten foot ceilings, detailed moldings and woodwork and tall windows with great ocean and sky views.

The Innkeeper's lifetime collection of antique furniture and textiles adds to the historical ambiance.

Each morning, we serve a four course gourmet breakfast in our elegant dining room, surrounded by period antiques, Venetian glass, fine art and vintage china and silver. Enjoy great conversation with some of our other interesting guests - it's the perfect way to start your day.

The house has been carefully restored over the last five years, with updated private bathrooms in each of the five guest rooms, central a/c throughout, an open fireplace in the welcoming lounge for cool nights, flat screen televisions and premium cable service.

We use only the finest linens and mattresses, and we do everything we canto ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests.
