We're a short drive from Washington, DC and Richmond, Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We offer four guest room suites, each luxuriously furnished with fine linens, a queen-sized bed, private bathroom, writing desk, telephone, flat screen cable television, DVD player, CD/alarm/radio, hairdryer and a/c. Two of our guest rooms have fireplaces, and we also have a copy machine, fax machine, and wireless internet connections available four our business travelers. The common areas at the Shenandoah Valley Innm B&B are open and welcoming. The elegant living area has a beautiful crystal chandelier, fireplace and French doors leading to the wrap-around deck - a wonderful location for evening cocktails or your tea or coffee in the morning. Our guests often enjoy soft conversation in this elegant room, and there's also a grand piano here for guests to play. On the other side of the large entry with grand winding staircase is our library. The owner's large book collection will entice the most enthusiatic reader. We also have many board games, cards, and a large library of DVD's and CD's for guests to use. Visitors to the Shenandoah Valley Inn Bed & Breakfast gravitate to our library to read a book, write a letter, or listen to music. Next to the library is the large formal dining room. Each morning, come down the stairs and have a delicious gourmet breakfast in our dining room in the golden morning sunlight. The dining room overlooks the gardens, and has an elegant crystal chandelier and fireplace. The room has tables for two or four, set with vintage china, crisp linens, crystal stemware and shiny silver. You can dine privately, or talk with other guests over breakfast - it's up to you. Shenandoah Valley Inn B&B has the best garden in Staunton, with several terraced levels, wandering paths leading to 3 ponds, and a garden swing where you can relax and listen to the babbling water as the birds sing. You can spend a whole day exploring Staunton, the Shenandoah Valley's oldest city. The Shenandoah Valley Inn is just 2 blocks from downtown - walk yo antique shops, art galleries, places to eat, museums, boutique stores, the American Shakespeare Theater, the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and much more.
