Schatzi's Apartment Rentals offers historic vacation rentals apartments upstairs in an 1888 Red Galena brick building. We're extremely pet friendly, and welcome gay and lesbian couples and individuals who like to travel with their dogs.
Our large apartments each have a queen-sized bed, television, alarm clock/radio, private bath, and a second bedroom for your dog to hang out in when you're out seeing the town. We offer a 4 room apartment for the same price you'd pay for a 1 room hotel.
Each room has a full kitchen - with refigerator, stove, microwave, dishes, and coffee maker.
We're just fifteen minutes from Galena, and also close to many other area attractions, including the Chestnut Mountain Ski resort, Mississippi Palisades State Park, and just half an hour from the Dubuque casinos.

Reservations:
Due to our small size, we cannot confirm reservations over the Web. You can email us, or call the office.
Deposit:
We require a credit card to hold the room. We do not charge the credit card until you arrive, and then we charge full payment as you check in.
Cancellation:
We have a 48-hour cancellation notice. If we are able to fill the vacancy, you will not be charged. Otherwise, a one-night stay will be billed to your credit card. There will be no refunds for shortened stays.

You are welcome to stop by earlier in the day to drop off your luggage and, if your room is prepared, we will be happy to check you in.

Pets:
Dogs are very welcomed at Schatzi's. However, if they or you cause damage to property or persons, you are responsible. If you are leaving your dogs unattended, we encourage you to shut them in the dog's bedroom. Dogs that enjoy hearing the sound of their own voice should not be left alone, as they may disturb your neighbors.
