" ADIRONDACKS B&B: SATISFYING
The 18 mile drive to nearby Saratoga Springs and the 10 miles to Lake George make this rural hilltop, at the convergence of the mighty Hudson River and the white waters of the Sacandaga River, a wonderfully convenient location for a magnificent, romantic, 1885 Queen Anne Victorian. From Saratoga Rose Inn's sweeping veranda to its spiraling tower, to its garden gazebo, "The Rose" seems to stand watch over her pristine setting. Owners Claude Bélanger of Québec City, and Chef and artist Richard Ferrugio of NYC have brought their passions for fine design and fine dining together creating a very special place for your very special getaways. The Inn has four guest rooms in the mansion, each of which is designed in high Victorian style with period wallpapers & furnishings: the the Garden Room, the Victoria Room, the Saratoga Room, and the Queen Anne Room; and two very distinctive rooms in the adjacent Carriage House: the Adirondack Room is outfitted as a cabin with log walls, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, and Adirondack art pieces; and the Colorado Room features Richard's hand painted walls, rustic white pine and black iron furnishings and southwestern art and décor collected by the Innkeepers when they lived "out West". While each room is unique, all rooms have fireplaces, AC, and private baths. Four have hot tubs, (with fresh water only - chemicals are never used), 2 indoor and 2 outdoor, each private to the room, and four have TVs. Other amenities include free wireless internet connections (WiFi), private decks, and outstanding views of the beautiful surroundings. Our rooms come with a full breakfast including pastry, entree, fresh fruit, meat of the day, juice, coffee & tea. With notice, meals can be adjusted for vegetarians, and those with Diabetes and Celiac disease. With one of the area's finest restaurants, Saratoga Rose Inn offers you exceptional cuisine for dinner as well. After an exciting day of activities you can dine al fresco in the summer & early fall on the veranda or in the beautifully appointed air-conditioned dining rooms on the first floor of the Mansion, and then enjoy a relaxing evening in your private hot tub.
