There are many things to do on Vancouver Island, including hiking along alpine trails, skiing, wandering on the beach, or enjoying a music festival.
Spend the day watching the orcas and seals in the Strait, or watching for the eagles that soar high above the island. Or explore the local wetlands, or wander Denman and Hornby Islands, with great beachcoming and nature walks.
Like alpine walks? Walk the boardwalks in Strathcona Park, and wander under the huge trees of Cathedral Grove.
After a long day on the Island, return to Salsbury House is a relaxing retreat to return to for a great night's rest.
We offer just one guest room, so you'll have all of our attention and care.
The property includes a quiet garden with an outdoor garden bed where you can relax on a warm summer evening, or take an afternoon nap under the shade of our walnut tree. Or cool off and enjoy a good book in our library.
Open since 1997, Salsbury House B&B has hosted guests from all around the world while they explored our beautiful corner of Vancouver Island. When we bought the home, the garden was a mess of rock, weeds, and dying plants, but with years of planning and care, we've created a beautiful oasis.
