The Residenza is right on via Fillungo, the main street of ancient Lucca's city center, easily accessible by car, train or bus. We provide accommodation at our residence on a daily or a weekly basis (minimum stay 3 nts), perfect for discovering the city and its surroundings at a relaxed pace. It's also great for folks who ppreciate the warmth, elegance and friendly hospitality of an old house. This exclusive residence is a single apartment for 2, right next to the owners' flat. It's huge - more than 50 square meters wide, and has its own separate entrance for guest privacy. The apartment has been restored using only valuable traditional materials, respecting the original structure. This Tuscany Vacation Rental Apartment includes a sleeping alcove with a romantic wrought iron double-bed, a large living area with characteristic furniture, and an eat-in kitchen with antique table and built-in cabinetry. From the balcony, you can see part of the old city's roofs and monuments. Stay with us at a very convenient price, and you'll get a real insight into the wonderful lifestyle of Tuscany. You can plan your vacation in total freedom, and enjoy the assistance and the atmosphere of a living house. The residence is open all year round, but we suggest reservations be made no later than 3 weeks in advance. The apartment can only accomodate two adults. Pets are allowed, although a small fee is requested for them. We also ask that you kindly advise us beforehand if you are travelling with pets. The apartment has all the usual comforts, including radio, color tv, stereo, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, as well as books and guidebooks in many languages. We also provide linens, towels, kitchenware, gas, heating, water and electricity as well as a weekly cleaning service. Telephone line and dataport are available on demand, and are charged separately. The palazzo (palace) is in one of the most beautiful parts of Lucca, nestled between the impressive 900-year-old church of San Frediano, a Tuscan Romanesque style masterpiece, and the dramatic Piazza Anfiteatro, a famous round square laid out on the location of a 2000-years-old Roman amphitheatre. This district is also known for its nice boutique stores and fine cafés and restaurants. Famed musicians Puccini and Boccherini were both born just a few steps from here, and many Italian artists and writers used to live in this area. The owner and his staff will be happy to give you advice and tips regarding local excursions, museums, shops or restaurants, and to offer you any possible further assistance. We can also offer individual Italian language courses and Italian cuisine courses upon request. Come stay with us in beautiful Tuscany, in the beautiful historic walled city of Lucca.

This Tuscany vacation rental apartment is in a Renaissance patrician house in the beautiful stone-walled village of Lucca. The home was built by a Lucca Senator in 1460, and has recently been restored. The palace itself is still inhabited by the owners, who live in the main flat, and are glad to welcome visitors.
