You can go hiking, mountain biking, skiing, white water rafting, take a glider ride, watch the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train wind its way through the valley, or elk grazing in the meadow from your private patio or pond area. Perhaps you just want to read a book in our comfortable plant filled sunroom, warmed by the antique parlor wood stove. Our bed and breakfast is close to all activities, yet we have a secluded location with peaceful country charm. Your home away from home. Our exclusive retreat includes a fully equipped and stocked private kitchen with basic staples, condiments, and breakfast items provided by your innkeepers. We share the produce from our organic gardens, orchards and berry patches with our guests. Durango has "Old West Charm" and features numerous high quality restaurants. Be sure to ask your innkeepers, Connie and Dave for their suggestions! Decorated with original fine art created by artist/innkeepers Connie L. Morse and Dave Sime, their hospitality will leave you longing to return. For those of you who love art, Connie and Dave are professional artists and instructors in oil and watercolor painting. Many of their works are on display throughout the inn and you are invited to visit the studio and gallery to view works in progress.
