Let us make you feel at home at the island's most Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast here on the Island of Hawai'i. Puako Bed and Breakfast is a newly remodeled Kama'aina home (island beach home) located in Puako on the sunny Kohala coast just 30 minutes from Kona International Airport. Puako Bed and Breakfast sits across from the ocean and in the vicinity of some of the best beaches, golf courses, luxury resorts and fine dining establishments on the island.

Your hosts, Punahele Andrade and Kelly Wilson, invite you to experience Hawai'i and its many diverse cultures, rich history and scenic beauty.

On your next visit to Hawai`i, experience the warmth and the essense of aloha with Punahele and Kelly.

Aloha And Welcome To Our Hawaii Bed & Breakfast On The Kohala Coast!

Puako Bed and Breakfast has four suites available. A two night minimum and 50% deposit are required upon booking. A 30-day cancellation notice is required for full deposit refund. Payments can be made by check, money order, cash, Visa or MasterCard. Balance due upon check in.

A Hawaiian continental breakfast is served from 6:30 - 9:00 a.m. daily. Fresh Island grown fruits, local baked goods, secret Hawaiian banana bread, yogurts, granola, island juices and most popular, 100% Kona coffee.

Paul Punahele Andrade was born on the Island Of Hawai'i in 1962. Punahele was raised in Puako and Honoka'a, Hawai'i. As a young child he was interested in all things Hawaiian. He studied traditional Hula Kahiko and Hula 'Auana for seventeen years and today he is a kumu hula ( hula teacher) and composer and entertainer in many of the local Hotel Hawaiian Lu'au shows. He has taught the Hula in a traditional school of his own for nearly 10 years. For the past 5 years he has begun to study the art form of traditional Hawaiian massage of spiritual cleansing (Lomilomi ke ala hoku).

Punahele studied Hawaiian language, pottery art, flora and fauna and Hawaiian music at the University Of Hawaii at Hilo. He has a great sense of place and respect for the land, sea and Island and that never allows him to take his island home for granted. Punahele has shared his home, its beauty, history, flora and fauna with visitors from all over the world and he believes that the greatest thing in life is the spirit of aloha.

Punhele has a 17 year old son Chad Amanakamaha'oikeawakeapomaika'i (Kamaha'o) who is the pride of his life. And the love of his life is Kelly Wilson who is also a co-host at E walea by the Sea. Punahele and Kelly also have a tropical fruit farm on the east side of the island at Hakalau in Wailea. They enjoy that work very much and have great plans for their 6 acre farm and home.

All rates based on a double occupancy and a two night stay. Extra person $35 per day.
