Prinx Studios offers beautiful, modern Amsterdam apartments in the historical city center, in a canal house on the canal Lijnbaansgracht.
Amsterdam is a beautiful, historic city, dominated by the famous canal houses, crowned by ornamented gable tops, that have been built as residences for the wealthy merchants and citizens. Amsterdam is also a colorful, modern city with an intense cultural life.
Most of Amsterdam's tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. The Museum Area: Rijksmuseum (National Gallery: Rembrandt among others) and Van Gogh Museum are just 100 meter away from the house. And you can reach The Central Station easily by tram.
In the city centre, you will also find the Jewish Historical Museum and The Anne Frank House.
During the day, our lively Amsterdam historic and cultural neighbourhood is very peaceful. Prinx is surrounded by typical historical houses, and Amsterdam's other canals are just around the corner. The canal Spiegelgracht, 20 meters away from the house, is well-known for its art galleries and antique shopping.
You'll also find many breakfast cafes and restaurants close by, and most of Amsterdam's gay cafes and bars are within walking distance.
Our Amsterdam apartment studios have been very recently renovated (2008) and face either a quiet street or the canal Lijnbaansgracht.
In addition to the bathroom, each studio offers a living-dining area with cooking facilities, and a bed area. On request, we can prepare either a double bed or twins.
In your refridgerator, you'll find a bottle of Catalan sparkling wine cava (and orange juice) as a welcome drink.
Each of our studio apartments is between 25 and 33 square meters, and has an entrance on either the first or second floor above the street level. You can also reach them from a hall on the first floor of our house. Each room offers a view either on the quiet street behind the house or on the canal at the front.
Each studio is normally equipped for two people. Bed linens and towels are also supplied, and our rooms are all non-smoking.
In-room cooking facilities are perfect for preparing breakfast, lunch or even dinner. But you can also visit the many breakfast cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Each studio offers central heat, cable TV and wifi (rates include all of these services).

Cancellations:
If 7 days before arrival, we will refund your payment (minus administration and transaction fees). If less than 7 days notice, we'll have to charge one night ot the deposit won't be refunded.
