This area of the Shenandoah Valley offers many exciting adventures, such as hiking on Skyline Drive, canoeing, horseback riding, VA wineries, skiing, fishing, golfing, antique shopping and so much more. Also nearby are the world famous Luray Caverns.
This home has been landscaped by mother nature with spectacular views of both the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountains. Offering standard guest rooms, a 2 room suite and a private luxury cottage. The old and new have been combined to create a down home comfortable get-away.
The dining room which houses a 10 foot farm table is where our house guests assemble to enjoy a country style breakfast every morning. This has been the arena for fun chats, much laughter and the building block for long and lasting friendships. We do our best to cater to all dietary restrictions. The outdoor Jacuzzi; open year round, offers a place to sit back, relax and take in an endless sky of stars and breathtaking mountain views.
The Rosebud Cottage - Offers 500 sq ft of private and relaxing accommodations for 2 with spacious bedroom/living room combination, queen size bed, large full bath with shower, kitchenette, gas fireplace, guest controlled A/C, satellite TV/VCR/DVD Player, VHS/DVD video library, stereo with CD and cassette, all linens and towels, iron and ironing board, heavy velour robes, outdoor jacuzzi hot tub. Breakfast is delivered to your door each morning. Occupancy: 2
Mark Ruffner Room - A larger room in the upstairs wing of the Main House. Offering queen size bed, full private hall bath with shower, sitting area, all season fireplace, guest controlled A/C, satellite TV & DVD/VCR player, small refrigerator, spectacular views of Skyline Drive and the Massanutten Mountains. This room can also be reserved as a Suite. In addition to the amenities above, the Suite includes an additional spacious adjoining bedroom with a full size bed; for 2 guests traveling together, but sleeping separately. OR for a 3rd person in your party; age 16 or above, a sitting area, seasonal fireplace, guest controlled air conditioner, DVD/VCR. Occupancy: 3
Walter Rogers Room - The Walter Rogers room is the only guest room located on the first floor with queen size bed, full private bath with shower, all season fireplace, guest controlled A/C, satellite TV & VCR/DVD player, small refrigerator, spectacular views of the Shenandoah Valley & Skyline Drive. All reservations will be held with a valid credit card number. Holidays and Fall Season weekends require a 2 night minimum stay.
Cancellations:
A $25.00 service charge will be applied to all cancellations. Cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. Holidays and Fall Season cancellations received less than 10 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. No Shows, that is not notifying us at all, will be charged the entire reservation price. If a reservation is cut short you will be charged 50% per night for each remaining night of your reservation, excluding Holidays and Fall Season where you will be charged the entire amount of your reserved stay.
