Old Guadalajara is an adult Bed and Breakfast in the very heart of the downtown historical district of Guadalajara. Within a three block perimeter is the Colonial Center--Opera, main plazas, museums, historical monuments and colorful markets--an ideal location for those seeking unpretentious luxury, fine quality and comfort. We offer a refreshing escape from hackneyed commercialism and the clichés of hotel life in an elegant private home.

We've worked hard to restore this sixteenth century townhome, once a part of the Santa María de Gracia convent. It's filled with antique furnishings, artwork, Persian rugs and an elegant decor - an ambiance of refinement and taste in a most Mexican environment.

We offer four large upper-floor suites, each with a queen bed, private bathroom and an interior patio filled with tropical bamboo, palms, flowers and potted fruit trees.

The innkeepers live on-site in a separate apartment, providing a high level of quality. But we also respect your privacy.

Our gourmet breakfast includes fresh juice, fruit, pastries, eggs and other seasonal and local offerings. And there are also a number of great basic or stylish restaurants nearby.

You can also relax in our common areas and meet other guests, explore colonial monuments within a short walk from Old Guadalajara B&B, or just enjoy a stroll through our safe and fascinating neighborhood.

Our facility is entirely non smoking, and we can't accommodate children.  If you plan to have visitors, be aware that we only allow guests to meet visitors in the downstairs sitting rooms.
