Welcome to New Hampshire's Notchland Inn B&B, a charming White Mountains bed and breakfast in operation since the 1920s.
Abel Crawford's 18th century Mt. Crawford House originally stood on this property, and his tavern is now our dining room. Crawford Notch itself is a monument to his family name... and to the history of New Hampshire's beautiful White Mountains.
The front parlor was designed by Gustav Stickley, a founder of the Arts & Crafts movement, and is an ideal place to relax by the fire or to visit with some of our other guests. Or try one of our board games, or contribute to the perpetual "puzzle-in-progress."
The music room will draw you to the piano or the stereo, where you can listen to music you personally select. Here too, there's often a serious Scrabble game in progress.
Our White Mountains Bed & Breakfast offers fantastic views from the sun-room... a great place to sip a cup of coffee and read that book you've been saving, or borrow one from Notchland's eclectic library.
Ficus trees share this space with blooming plants and a bubbling fountain. Don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of the Notchland animals!
The Notchland Inn's property runs for 8,000 feet along the Saco River - two of the area's best swimming holes are next-door! Nancy Pond feeds a brook by the same name which cascades down Bemis Mountain & enters the Saco just above our granite gorge.
The Davis Path, which climbs up Mount Crawford and links to other trails leading to the summit of Mount Washington, begins just across the road from the Notchland Inn. There are also many other hiking that begin on or near Notchland.

A deposit of one half the total stay including tax is required within seven days of making a reservation, in order to guarantee it. Written confirmation of the reservation will be sent upon receipt of the deposit, if there is sufficient time to do so before your arrival. Fax and e-mail confirmations are also possible.
Cancellations:
If cancellation should be necessary, a refund of deposit will be made if we receive notice 14 days or more prior to arrival. A $20 administrative charge, per reserved room, is deducted from all refunds. If notice of cancellation is received within the final 14 days, the deposit will be forfeit unless the room is re-rented.
