Traveling in Our Fabulous World: Boothbay Harbor
By Donald Pile & Ray Williams, Gay Travelers

On our recent 4 week driving trip to the East coast we visited a lot of cities, towns and villages and had a wonderful time at each of them.  All were fun, interesting and exciting to visit however our stay in Boothbay Harbor, Maine was “beyond fabulous”! We first checked into the Topside Inn. It is located on the tallest hill in the city and is an 19th Century Sea Captain’s home. They also have guests cottages to the side of the main house. They have a total of 21 guest rooms.

Exploring San Francisco's Chinatown
By Cheri, ParksideSF, San Francisco, California

The reality of Chinatown is that there are two Chinatowns: One belongs to the locals, the other charms the tourists. They overlap and dance with each other, drawing more visitors annually than the Golden Gate Bridge. Why the popularity? Because visitors expect something they won't find anywhere else. They expect to be stunned and enchanted and stuffed with great food. And they will.

Incline Village on Lake Tahoe's Nevada Shore
By Mike & Jorge, Bears Den Cabin, Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

Recently, we didn’t feel we could recommend Incline Village because the local Trust that governs the town had repealed Domestic Partner Benefits. Fortunately, there was so much pressure from all over the country, plus the threat of a boycott, that the board had to reinstate those benefits. Through the LGBT community’s mobilizing efforts, as well as all our supporters, we are more than happy to espouse the beauty of Incline Village – our home away from home on Lake Tahoe.

Perfectly situated as a touring base, Manchester International Airport, the beautiful Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales are all only an hour drive away.
