PRIVATELY OWNED VACATION RENTAL CABIN RETREAT IN THE SMOKIES
Located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Mountain Vista Cabins are on our own private land, just minutes to all area attractions, and offer gorgeous scenery and views of the mountains. We have 3 cabins on 8 total acres surrounded by gorgeous pastures and wooded land. And we're pet friendly!
Pictured above is the Mountain Vista Cabin. The first picture on the left also shows the interior of the Mountain Vista; a lovely private cabin with the hot tub just steps from the bedroom on the deck.
Pictured just below the Vista, is the Mountain Mist Cabin; A cozy cabin for 2 with a full sized hot tub, pool table, and huge wrap-around-deck.
3rd on left is the Mountain Breeze cabin. This is our largest cabin (2 bedrooms). It's perfect & cozy for 2, yet sleeps 4-6 guests easily. It features a fully appointed upstairs bedroom with a King bed and private bathroom, a bubbling hot tub, pool table, and basement game room.

All our cabins offer privacy and all amenities you'll need to enjoy your Smoky Mountain vacation; fireplace, washer/dryer, Satellite TV (with all premium channels) with DVR, all bedrooms with TVs, fully equipped kitchen stocked with the basics including plenty of complimentary coffee, spices, and other convenience snacks.
Our cabins are privately owned, we're not a commercial cabin company. We fell in love with the Smoky Mountains area on our first visit. And with every subsequent visit, we grew more and more homesick for the beautiful mountain views, winding country roads, spectacular scenery, and crisp mountain air. And between trips - daydreaming about the lush, peaceful mountains - we found that we couldn't wait to return so we found this lovely property near everything. Now we use the property as our vacation home and it available to you too.
Only 2.5 miles from the Glades Road Arts and Crafts Community; 6 miles from downtown Gatlinburg - which takes you right to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park; 5 miles from the Dollywood theme park and Dollywood's Splash Country; and 6 miles from Pigeon Forge where you'll enjoy tons of outlet shopping, restaurants, and dinner shows.
There are entertainment opportunities aplenty. You can visit one of the many outlet malls in Pigeon Forge, enjoy music theatres, play golf at the Gatlinburg Golf Course, or play mini golf (putt putt) at the many local themed mini-courses. Gatlinburg attractions include the Ripley's museum, the Aquarium of the Smokies, the Dollywood theme park, and of course, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Downtown Gatlinburg is a quaint town situated at the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Walking or driving through the town you'll find a variety of specialty shops, attractions, and restaurants.
Minimum stay is usually 3 nights on weekends and 2 nights on weekdays (Mon. -Thurs.), but if you find a 2 night opening that falls between 2 booked reservations, you may book that available time.

Reservations:
All reservations will include a refundable security deposit, state sales tax of 9.5%, and a one time hot tub/housekeeping fee. Upon your departure, and after an inspection of the cabin has been made, we will refund your deposit(s) if all of the conditions have been met and the cabin is in the same condition as when you first arrived. If damage or loss to the cabin exceeds the amount of your deposit(s), your deposit will be used to collect the amount needed to restore the cabin to it's original condition. Any remaining funds will be returned to you. If excessive cleaning is required after your departure, you will be charged a minimum of $50.00.
Deposits:
In order to reserve your cabin, payment, along with this completed rental agreement, must be received within 5 days of confirming your reservation. A deposit of 50% is due with reservations that are made over 30 days ahead of time. Full payment is due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. If a reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment with PayPal, cashiers check, or money order is due at the time of the reservation.
Cancellations:
Once a reservation is confirmed and a deposit or full payment is made, only the guest named on the rental agreement may notify us, in writing, of their intent to cancel. All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following penalties: Over 60 days before arrival date = $100 administration fee. 60 days to 31 days before arrival date = 25% of rental amount. 30 days or less before arrival date = 50% of rental amount. 2 weeks or less before arrival date = 100% of rental amount
Check-In:
3 PM is the scheduled arrival time. Please allow us time to properly prepare the cabin for your arrival. If we have a cell phone number on file, we will attempt to call you if the cabin will be ready earlier than 3:00 pm.
Check-Out:
10 AM is the scheduled departure time. Your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the cabin for the next guests.
Children:
Because we offer our guests a peaceful and relaxing vacation getaway, we must restrict our cabins to only well-behaved children over the age of eight.
Smoking:
Smoking is allowed outside only. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground. If there is any tobacco smell in the cabin after your departure, there will be a $250 charge as well as any additional associated costs which could include carpet cleaning, dry cleaning, and loss of rental income.
