Moonlight Point Studio Suite is located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada; a one and a half hour drive from Toronto. We are also within driving distance of Montreal, Ottawa, and the U.S. border. The "County" is quickly becoming known as Ontario's newest wine region, and our home is situated in the heart of some of the most prominent vineyards, wineries, and tasting rooms. In fact, we are across the road from an organically cultivated vineyard. This region is also rich in history, farming, artisans, and unique shops & galleries.

Our modest rancher and 2.5 "natural" acres will provide you with a peaceful and relaxed setting, as well as privacy. The suite has its own deck and entry, and all the amenities for a self-sufficient stay. We will provide continental style breakfast "fixings", along with a selection of local jams, jellies, etc., so that you may make your own breakfast at your leisure.

The room is tastefully decorated with nautical decor and original art & photography. There is a small TV for viewing DVDs, as we have a great collection of LGBT DVDs for you to borrow during your stay. If you enjoy outdoor games, there is a variety of equipment for your enjoyment. For cool, crisp nights in the fall and winter there is an electric fireplace indoors, or you may choose to sit around the outdoor fire ring.

Activities in the "County" are abundant. One of the most interesting things to see are the sand dunes in Sandbanks Provincial Park. There you will find some of the largest fresh water dunes in the world. The inner side of the dunes features East and West Lakes which are great for kayaking and canoeing. Windsurfing, scuba diving, and fishing are also very popular on Lake Ontario. Cycling the backroads offers an opportunity to visit wineries, art studios, and antique shops while enjoying the beautiful rural setting.

Regarding animals --- we do have two indoor, resident cats, and we will welcome your pets as long as they are well-behaved, flea free, and up-to-date with their shots. Dogs must be kept on a leash while outside as the property is not fenced.
