Micasa Lodging Bed & Breakfast is a 2 unit Craftsman-style redwood bungalow, on a large corner lot in a quiet residential neighborhood in North Berkeley.

The Bed & Breakfast was originally built in 1905 as a private home, and it sits high above the street on its own hill, giving the home a sense of seclusion and a wonderful view. Micasa Lodging B&B is just five blocks of Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto, where you'll find many boutique stores, a bookstore and local bus stops. Just as close, there's a public swimming pool, running track and library, and there's also a Thursday afternoon farmer's market. You can also walk to the Cal Berkeley campus, the downtown theater district and BART trains to take you around the San Francisco Bay Area.

The large one-bedroom suite comes with full bathroom, kitchen with gas stove and a microwave. The kitchen opens onto a private deck with great light in the morning through mid-afternoon. The bedroom features a queen bed, and there's also a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Large, full of sunlight and serene, the great room combines living and dining areas, and faces east to the hills and west for a sunset view. The house also has a fireplace, and is filled with antique furniture. There is plenty of room to entertain, and all the windows look out onto gardens, green, and trees.

We also offer a one-bedroom studio, with a day bed that opens out to a larger than queen-size bed. The studio comes with a small bathroom with a shower, and a full kitchen with a gas stove. Also filled with antiques, the studio opens onto a western facing patio, deck, and our garden.
