Meridian Manor B&B is one of Washington DC’s newest Bed and Breakfasts. Located just north of Dupont Circle on 16th streets at U, visitors will find this home comfortable and convenient, offering 6 generously sized guest rooms and a fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment. Additional amenities include color televisions with cable, decorative fireplaces and wireless Internet access. All guestrooms are furnished with queen-sized beds. 4 guest rooms feature private baths, and 2 rooms share a hall bath.

Meridian Manor was built in 1890, and gets its name from the nearby Meridian Hill Park, a quick block away. The park is part of the National Park Service, and offers visitors a beautiful Italian style garden, unique 13 terraced and cascading water fountain, and Memorial to the late President James Buchanan. Meridian Manor offers visitors here for business or sightseeing, easy access to much Washington has to offer.

Business travelers will find the Washington Hilton towers a 10-minute walk to the west, and the new Washington Convention Center is an 8-minute walk to the U. Street/Cardozo metro station and 2-station stop to the heart of the Convention Center. Continuing 2 additional stops will bring sightseers to the National Mall, within steps of the Smithsonian Museums and National Monuments.

There are a total of 6 guest rooms at the B&B, located on the second, third and 4th floors. The Slate and Chocolate rooms are both located on the second floor and offer queen-sized beds and private baths. The Suede room and Master Suite are located on the third floor and also offer queen-sized beds and private baths.

The 4th floor is the location for the last 2 guest rooms, each again with a queen-sized bed. These two rooms shared a hall bath. There is an additional living area on this floor with 2 sleeper sofa's. This floor can be reserved as a suite making for very comfortable accommodations for a family or group traveling together. (Maximum of 6 persons allowed for the suite.)
