A ROMANTIC CAPE MAY BED & BREAKFAST
Welcome to Cape May's Mason Cottage Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful country Victorian B&B on the Southern Jersey Shore. Our Cape May NJ Bed and Breakfast is open year-round, and we're just one block from the beach and promenade and two blocks from many nice boutiques and intimate restaurants.
The Mason Cottage was originally built in 1871 by Edward A. Warne, a wealthy Philadelphia entrepreneur, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1940, the Mason Family bought the home, and soon after after Wilber Davis Mason, Sr. opened his home as a guesthouse to weary travelers. The current owners purchased the home in early 2009 and have carefully renovated their Cape May Bed and Breakfast, respecting the history but adding a modern sensibility. The Mason Cottage's original charm and friendly atmosphere continues today, augmented with some new modern touches we hope you'll enjoy, including:

From delectable fresh baked goods and breads to delicious breakfast dishes, we offer something that everyone can enjoy. Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM each morning. You can enjoy breakfast in either our beautiful dining room or on the veranda. A typical breakfast may include:
Coffee and tea, and fruit juices
Fresh baked pastries or breads
Fresh seasonal fruit
A hot entree such as a hearty breakfast casseroles, pancakes or French toast
Delicious and healthy steel-cut oats

Cancellations:
Subject to $25 cancellation fee - there are no other additional charges for room or package plan cancellations with at least 10 days advance notice. No-shows or cancellations within 10 days of arrival date will result in a charge equal to the first nights room charge or in the case of package plans... $150.00 per person. Guest canceling with at least 10 days advance notice, will be refunded with a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days.

Pets:
We allow small to medium size dogs (under 60 lbs) in one pet friendly room (on 3rd floor); however, pets are not permitted in any of the public areas of the inn. Guests wishing to bring their pet, must call the inn directly to make their reservation. There is a fee of $35 per night plus taxes for any guest bringing their pet, as special arrangements need to be made for cleaning of the room. Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused to guest rooms or furnishings by their pet.
