The large Victorian Main House, built in 1881, was originally part of The Eaton Farm, an 800 acre sheep farm. Each of the motel units are large, clean and comfortable with views of the surrounding mountains. Hearty Vermont breakfasts are available each morning in the Main House Breakfast Room. Specialties on our menu include country fresh eggs and "from scratch" whole wheat pancakes with locally produced maple syrup and Cabot butter. We are centrally located only minutes from Vermont's charming state capitol, Montpelier, and convenient to St. Johnsbury and the picturesque Northeast Kingdom. Stowe is 45 minutes away and Burlington approximately 1 hour. The Canadian border is just 1 1/2 hours to the north. Marshfield Inn & Motel is the perfect hub from which to explore in any direction.
