EXPLORE THE HEART OF VERMONT
Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast, in the heart of Vermont, is a beautiful 1887 Victorian home built by Scottish immigrant and prominent Vermonter George Mackie.
Maplecroft B&B has a unique circular tower, beautifully carved wood trim, high ceilings and comfortable antique furnishings.
Our Vermont bed and breakfast has been lovingly renovated. George Mackie's "Scottish Castle" is the perfect place from which to enjoy Barre-Montpelier and everythinh Central Vermont has to offer.
Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast has three well-appointed guest rooms and two comfortable suites, both with televisions, one with a full kitchen and dining area.
Each of our guest rooms has a king or queen-sized bed and a private bathroom, and both of our guest suites also have a queen-size sleeper sofa with an upgraded mattress.
Our common areas include a period parlor with a cheery fireplace, an elegant period dining room, a music room with a grand piano, a comfortable den with television, and a wraparound porch where you can relax during our lazy summer afternoons.
The entire house has wifi internet access.
From our Central Vermont B&B's original granite steps, you're just a short walk to Main Street Barre's charming shops and restaurants and so much more:
