Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge sits on fifty tropical acres in the Cayo District, in the Macal River Valley, Belize in what many consider to be the most beautiful part of the Cayo District of Belize. The beautiful Maya Mountains surround our property - enjoy great views from many places in this nature retreat.

All of our electricity comes from solar panels on-site, so we limit our power usage. Our eco-friendly rentals are lit with kerosene lamps for a romantic ambiance, but the Toucan Cabin also has limited solar power for "regular" light at night.

Each of our Belize vacation rental cabanas and cabins have private bathrooms with hot water - you don't have to be uncomfortable to be envornmentally friendly.

Most of the property has been kept in its natural state, with the grounds around our rentals beautifully manicured. Stroll through the property to enjoy the native floran and fauna - including great bird watching. You might also spot a jaguar, tapir, iguana, peccary (wild pig) or any of the smaller native animals that populate the jungles in Belize.
