BREATHTAKING KEALAKEKUA BAY VIEWS "
Welcome to Luana Inn Bed and Breakfast on Kealakekua Bay in Captain Cook, where we strive to bring you all of these things. We're blessed with one of the most magnificent locations on the Big Island of Hawai’i: at three hundred feet above sea level in the tranquil South Kona Kealakekua Bay Historical Reserve, the Inn is within walking distance of picturesque Kealakekua Bay and some of the most beautiful water in all the Hawaiian Islands. Perched on the hillside, on a secluded lot up a palmlined private drive, we are surrounded by serene beauty: gracious grounds, sunny days, and a breathtakingly vast ocean view. Graced with tasteful interiors, five elegant guest rooms, and excellent amenities, Luana Inn Bed & Breakfast offers a luxurious experience in an area rich in Hawaiian Islands spirit. The Luana Inn B&B is a sunny, open, ocean view property with two modern tropical houses. The inn has a total of five elegant guest rooms, each with its own private entrance, private bathroom, and kitchenette. All rooms are non-smoking. The main house at our Hawaiian B&B, Hale Wainani (beautiful water house), is a bright, airy Mediterranean-style home. Built in 2000, ocean-facing Hale Wainani includes three elegant guest rooms with private entrances off the pool lanai and west lawn, the Dining Room, Guest Great Room, and Guest Office. Located across the lawn behind the Main House is Hale ‘Alohilani (bright sky house), a Hawaiian-style house built in 1998. Hale ‘Alohilani is divided into two large guest suites, each with its own private entrance. In addition to easy access to the Main House and pool patio, ‘Alohilani also has its own covered patio.
Centrally located on the sunny Kona Coast near Honalo, Kealakekua, Kainaliu, Captain Cook and Honaunau, Luana Inn Bed & Breakfast is close to some of the best Big Island offerings, as well as being an excellent base for exploration of the entire Big Island. The Inn is wenty-four miles south of the Kailua-Kona and Mask Bar, the Big Island's only gay bar. The bed and breakfast is in South Kona, down winding, green Napo’opo’o Road, the road that leads to Kealakekua Bay Marine Life Reserve and sacred Pu’uhonua o Honaunau City of Refuge National Park. We are on lower Napo’opo’o Road, within walking distance of Napo’opo’o and Manini beaches, just minutes from Keei Beach and Pu’uhonua o Honaunau. From world-class snorkeling at the Captain Cook Monument in Kealakekua Bay and at Two-Step at Pu’uhonua o Honaunau, to kayaking, swimming, hiking, biking, whale-watching, and swimming with dolphins, guests of Luana Inn are surrounded immediately with adventure potential. Rolling waves in the distance, radiant sunsets, morning birdsong, quiet nights filled with stars, and warm local culture will soothe the guest seeking calm. Come visit us in beautiful Captain Cook, Hawaii.
