Located just east of the downtown area in the "Cool" Plateau district, Lindsey's Bed and Breakfast is within walking distance of everything: museums and galleries, universities and conference centres, Old Montreal, the Underground City, the Gay Village and Parc Mont Royal.
Lindsey's is in an 1887 restored Victorian brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined residential street. It's a great neighbourhood with some of the city's best cafés, restaurants, clubs and shops just around the corner on Rue St-Denis and Rue St-Laurent.
The subway and buses are close-by and taxis are plentiful. There is street parking (no meters) on the block if you have a car.
Lindsey's opened its doors in 1985 – the first bed and breakfast for women in Montreal. We are proud of the warmth of our home and enjoy hosting women from all over the world.
A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in our sun-room by the garden, at a time convenient to you. The menu changes seasonally, always including imaginative fruit plates, juices and coffee/tea. Sample menus include french toast or tiny pancakes with Quebec maple syrup, croissants fresh from the oven, and the renowned Montreal bagel with smoked salmon. Guests often linger over breakfast and interesting conversation
All rooms can enjoy the large Victorian bathroom complete with our four poster tub! There is an additional powder room on the main floor as well.
The entire house is equipped with Central Air Conditioning for comfortable summer days and nights.
There is a bar fridge in the upstairs hallway for your convenience.

A cosy room with it's own private balcony overlooking the tree-lined street, making it an indoor/outdoor mini-suite in summer, this room has a queen size bed.

The room next door has a Victorian spaciousness with high ceilings and a six-foot high window nook. This quiet room has a queen size bed and a private ensuite half bathroom (toilet and sink).
Room #3
The Fireplace Suite - with a queen size bed and adjoining den with working wood fireplace (very popular in the winter months). This room comes with a private ensuite full bathroom with a tiled shower big enough for two.
