The Last Resort Guest House is a cozy cottage on Vashon Island's west side, perched high above Puget Sound. While staying at the cottage, you'll enjoy long, relaxing walks along the island shore, see eagles, whales, dolphins, osprey, and other wildlife, and enjoy tea and coffee on the cottage deck while watching the ships go by through the Colvos Passage!

Last Resort is hidden among in the woods at the end of a quiet country road. The cottage has a small kitchen with a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, microwave, and blender. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner indoors or outside, and we've provided place settings for four.

The cottage has a queen hide-a-bed sofa on the main floor, and a queen-sized bed in the loft. There's also a bathroom with shower, and a heater and a wood-fired stove to keep you warm on cool island evenings. and a loft with another queen sized mattress and the bathroom comes with a stand up shower.

French doors lead outside to the cottage deck, with amazing Puget Sound views and a jacuzzi for six/ There's also an outdoor shower where you can wash off the dust from your explorations of Vashon Island, and a Barbeque where you can grill up something for dinner.

If you want to work out, we have a local gym nearby that has a swimming pool, aerobics, saunas, and racketball courts, as well as weight training - we provide a guest pass with the cottage rental.

Vashon Island is a great place for a vation getaway - with a number of great wilderness hikes along quiet ponds and through verdant green woodlands. You can also take a walk along the beach, or kayak Puget Sound - or rent a couple bicycles and explore the island along our quiet country lanes.
