Welcome to La Maison Marigny , the only Bed and Breakfast on Bourbon Street and one of Travel and Leisure Magazine's "Top Ten B&Bs". Our B&B is convenient to not only the world-famous French Quarter but also the Faubourg Marigny. We're located steps from the intersection of Bourbon Street and Esplanade Avenue, which means our guests are just three blocks from the historic French Market and the Canal and Riverfront streetcar lines' Esplanade station. It's a short 5-minute stroll to the nightclubs on either Bourbon Street or Frenchmen Street, world-class art and antique stores on Royal Street, or the wonderful museums and shopping around Jackson Square. We're also on the bus line which offers a direct route to the arts district, convention center, sports arenas and downtown business district, so La Maison Marigny is perfect for both the convention and leisure traveler. Our bed and breakfast is licensed by the City of New Orleans and inspected/rated annually by bed and breakfast industry professionals. La Maison Marigny is a charter member of the Professional Innkeepers Association of New Orleans and participates with the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII) as well. About New Orleans: The world-famous French Quarter (actually mostly Spanish architecture, but that's a different story!) attracts visitors from across the globe. The 100 blocks that make up the Quarter feature fascinating architecture, great clubs and restaurants, and beautiful parks. The Aquarium of the Americas, Bourbon Street nightlife, French Market, Jackson Square, Royal Street antique shopping and the new riverfront Woldenberg Park are just some of the many neighborhood attractions. Next door is the Faubourg Marigny, the second oldest neighborhood in town. The Marigny is home to hot music clubs, notable restaurants, and several thousand residents. (Our bed and breakfast, La Maison Marigny, sits at the border of the Quarter and the Marigny...giving you the best of both neighborhoods!) New Orleans' attractions extend well beyond the French Quarter. While here, visit the Audubon Park and Zoo, City Park, the historic Garden District, and Uptown, home of both Loyola and Tulane universities as well as stately mansions along St. Charles Avenue. Most major attractions in New Orleans are within walking distance, including:
So come stay with us on one of the world's most famous streets, in beautiful New Orleans!
