La Datcha is the Russian word for a second home, often in the countryside, and it's also the name for our Bed & Breakfast n the heart of Montreal's Gay Village.

We're just a short walk from the Village's bars, patios and friendly people, and also within walking distance of the Historic Old Port and the downtown shopping and theatre district.

Previously known as Big Boys Guesthouse, La Datcha has kept its unique relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and has a perfect location for exploring all of central Montreal.

The new owners, Raul and Mikhail, welcome everyone to La Datcha B&B, and we go to great lengths to ensure our guests' comfort.

We offer many wonderful amenities, from double sound-proofed rooms to our beautifully landscaped gardens and bathrooms with spa-like facilities. Once you've stayed with us, you'll never want to stay anywhere else in Montreal.

Our Montreal B&B is filled with wonderful treasures from our travels. Each of our guest rooms has A/C, a TV, wifi internet access, and a unique theme. Crisp, clean linens and beautiful plush towels are provided every day.

Our second floor offers a kitchen area for guest use, with a little refrigerator, microwave, board games and a space where guests can mingle. We serve continental breakfast here every morning from 8:30 to 11:30 - fresh baked muffins and pastries, cheese and cold cuts, fresh fruit, juice and cereal, tea and coffee.  You'll also find a tanning deck that looks out over our private gardens.

Our lovely, landscaped garden has many hidden spots where you can relax by yourself with a good book, or visit with our other guests. Have a cocktail and soak up the sun, or relax in our huge 7 man jacuzzi. Whether you’re winding up or winding down, you can pass many house in our beautiful sanctuary, hidden in the heart of Montreal.

Our common areas also include a cozy sitting corner in the hallway, and a retreat room / library, where you can enjoy meditation and warmth if you're visiting during Montreal's winter months.
