From the Victorian splendor of our authentically appointed parlors to our beautifully and comfortably furnished guest rooms, you will feel that you've come back to another age at our gay owned guesthouse.

The Kilbourn Guest House offers a great environment to both business and leisure travelers looking for an extraordinary experience. Begin your day by enjoying one of specially prepared breakfasts served in the grandeur of our dining room.

Business travelers can take advantage of our business center area. Guests can enjoy TV, playing the baby grand piano, or choose from board games. Also available is an array of videos and DVDs.

The Kilbourn Guest House was formerly "The Golden Oak Bed & Breakfast." We just completed renovation and redecoration of our five guest rooms. We do recommend that you make reservations requests as early as possible for the summer festival weekends as the rooms tend to fill up well in advance.

We have five distinct guest rooms each with their own unique appeal.

#1 The Elizabeth Room: This room features a queen size bed and pedestal sink. Decorated in green and purple the colors are sure to please. The Elizabeth room uses one of the shared bathrooms.

#2 The Master Bedroom: With its ornate queen size bed, fireplace, marble sink, tv/vcr and private bath this room is sure to please. The master bedroom can also be set to adjoin the twin room upon request. This room is great for a romantic weekend stay.

#3 The Twin Bedroom: This room is quaint with two twin beds for those traveling together - yet apart. This room can be set to adjoining master bedroom upon request. The twin room will either use the bathroom in the master bedroom if they have the adjoining package or uses one of the other shared bathrooms.

#4 The Whirlpool For Two Room: This room features a Double Whirlpool for two, along with queen bed and tv/vcr. The whirlpool room uses one of the shared bathrooms. This room is great for that special getaway.

#5 The Sir Matthew Room: This room is named for Matthew who was made to sleep in the smallest room of the house as he was known to be able to sleep anywhere. Even with being a small room with only one full bed and shared bathroom, it can accommodate two guests as long as they don't mind small rooms and sharing a full size bed.
