Ken's Place opened in the Fall of 2001.  It is a grand old house in the mid-town section of Kansas City. It has many elegant touches and blessed with space.  There are 6 bedrooms available.  3 have private bath and the other 3 share a spacious divided bath area.  Two of the rooms have a private balcony.  All rooms have cable television with DVD or VCR players.  A complimentary breakfast is served in the dining room.  The back yard has a year around hot tub and a swimming pool in season.  We have a private parking lot with 7 spaces.  You are only a two minute walk to two gay bars.

Room #1...Large bedroom with queen bed done in an Egyptian motif.  No private bath.

Room #2...Small room with double bed done in a Princess style.  No bath but a private balcony overlooking 38th Street.

Room #3...Unusually large room with one queen bed done in an English style with private bath and fireplace.

Room #4...Small room with one double bed with excessive mirrors including the ceiling.  No bath.

Room #5...Spacious room in a nautical theme with queen bed, private 3/4 bath, and large balcony with Victorian porch  swing overlooking the swimming pool

Room #6...The entire third floor is in a jungle motif with private bath, several beds, kitchen, and hidden nook with leather sling.
