LANDMARK HISTORIC BERKSHIRES BED AND BREAKFAST IN LENOX
Built in 1881 by President Chester Arthur's Secretary of State, Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, the Kemble Inn Bed & Breakfast is one of Lenox, Massachusett's historic gems.
When you arrive at the Kemble Inn Bed & Breakfast, you'll enter our home through our welcoming foyer, where our sweeping staircase with its Palladian window is a testament to the elegance and luxury of a bygone era - it's like stepping back in time.
At the turn of the 19th century, the Berkshires provided a retreat for the wealthiest Americans. Here they built fantastic mansions, "The Berkshire Cottages", with a richness of styles reflecting the tastes and aspirations of their owners.
Ventfort Hall, just across from the street from the Kemble Inn B&B, is another example of these beautiful mansions. Both were designed by renowned architects of their time, Arthur Rotch and George Tilden, but in styles so vastly different that the two do not seem to be from the same era.
Situated on the hill top of two elevated acres, Kemble Inn Bed & Breakfast offers panoramic views of the splendid Berkshire Mountains. This oasis of green space in the center of Lenox is ideal for a personal getaway, wedding, anniversary, reunion, corporate meeting or other special event.

To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit per room is required on stays more than one night. A 100% deposit is required for one-night stays.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of the deposit. Cancellations received within 14 days of scheduled arrival date are non-refundable unless the room can be rebooked less a 10% processing fee based on the total costs of reservation. No shows and early departures will be charged in full. Rates are per night, and are subject applicable taxes. We recommend you purchase your own trip insurance if you believe you may need to cancel your visit last minute.
