Tastefully restored, this Registered Heritage Property(c1880) features fine antiques acquired through the years. Each of the seven beautifully appointed guest rooms has colour TV and private bath. Kaulbach House Historic Inn is ideally located in the heart of the United Nations designated World Heritage Site. Just two short blocks away is the historic waterfront where you can visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and enjoy a cruise on the harbour. Or stroll along tree lined streets exploring churches, heritage houses, antique shops and galleries. The heart of our Inn is the parlour. Here you can relax, listen to the music or socialize with fellow travellers. This room features beautifully restored mouldings, the original fireplace and an antique organ. A stay at the Kaulbach House Historic Inn is a memorable experience. Glenn and Derrick invite you to enjoy this fine example of Victorian architecture. A complimentary elaborate 3-course breakfast will be served in our lovely Dining room. The entree changes daily with specialties such as Orange Souffle with Strawberry Sauce and Apricot Glazed Pears or Peaches'n Cobbler. Every breakfast also includes muffins and scones fresh from the oven, homemade preserves and butter, juice and freshly brewed tea and coffee.
