Kane O Kupono (literally Men of Nature) is on the Big Island's tropical eastern side - come relax in the beauty of our jungle retreal. There are so many great things to do closeby - sunbathe at the beach, tour the amazing Volcanoes National Park, hike to amazing waterfalls, or soak on the local Hot Springs. We're at a high enough elevation that our weather is cooler year-round, not as hot and muggy as it can get by the water. Kane O Kupono Bed & Breakfast sits on three forested acres - wander through the wild jungle and enjoy all the wildlife and beautiful tropical flowers and fruit trees. We're just twenty miles from the seaside town of Hilo, where you'll find great shopping and dining. We're also just ten miles from Pahoa, a cute plantation town in the heart of the Puna District. Lava Tree State Park is just 1/2 an hour away, where you can see trees permannetly preserved by an old lava flow. You can also reach Kehena Beach''s black sands, where you'll find our amazing sea turtles, and often can spot dolphins playing offshore. And there are natural steam bents nearby too! We have wonderful beaches here on the Big Island, but there's so much more to do hear than suntan. Walk on the edge of a volcano, explore a lava tube, or see new land being made by Mother Nature. Let us welcome you to tropical paradise at Volcano's Kane O Kupono, on the Big Island of Hawaii!
