Joseph Aiken Mansion combines a comfortable setting with with personal service. Built in 1848, the property has been fully restored - when you stay here, you'll feel like you stepped back in time. The guesthouse was a gift from Robert Martin to his daughter for her wedding. Her husband, Joseph Aiken, is believed to be the architect who designed both the Joseph Aiken House and the Kerrison Mansion. We've converted the three brick dependencies on the property into luxurious apartment rental suites, with the original pine floors, custom cabinets, marble counters in each bathroom, and exposed bricks that give the suites a special charm. Each of these suites has 1 1/2 bathrooms, completely furnished kitchens, beautiful lead crystal chandeliers, and everything you'll need for a short or long stay with us in Charleston! Our grounds are beautifully landscaped, and some of our guestrooms have garden views. Come stay with us in Charleston, and find out what true luxury is.
