Jewel Lake Bed & Breakfast, in Anchorage, Alaska, is an easy drive from the International Airport. We provide a year round accommodations for your home away from home.

The bed and breakfast has two kitchens available. The upstairs kitchen is the primarily set up for guest to use. It is fully equipped to handle all of the cooking needs of any traveler or group of guests. This feature has been very popular because some guests like to prepare their own food to personal liking.

People traveling with special diets have benefited from this set up also. Eating out in Anchorage, Alaska can be expensive and this is a good way to save money while traveling. There is a grocery store located at the corner of Jewel Lake Road and Dimond, which is located near the B&B.

In the past, we had wedding parties that stayed with us that prepared food for a reception of 200 people. The ability to use full kitchen privileges is beneficial to any guest or group of guests that stay with us.

The bed and breakfast living room area has a beautiful vaulted ceiling, large windows, a fireplace and is nice and open, yet cozy. Travelers or member of a traveling group that aren't participating in outdoors adventures or sightseeing, can choose to read, catch up on correspondence, or listen to CDs.

Outside the B&B there is a large wrap around deck that is equipped with a grill and table and chairs for travelers and guest who enjoy cooking in this way. People often enjoy the morning or evening air while sitting on the deck.
