The Inn on Somerset is a grand Victorian home built in 1895 with eleven well appointed guest rooms furnished with period antiques. The Inn is located in the heart of Ottawa, within easy walking distance of fine restaurants, shopping, Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal. We offer a hearty breakfast in our gracious dining room from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Our guests are encouraged to relax in front of the fireplace in the living room or enjoy a leisurely stroll beside the Rideau Canal. Queen size bed, fireplace, private bath.
Located on the main floor this room is very bright and has a huge bathroom and a working fireplace. There is a large antique desk in the room and a big closet.
Room 2
Single bed, shared bath.
Ideal for a single person on a budget.
Room 3
Queen size bed, sun porch, shared bath.
This large room has a sun room attached to the bedroom. There is also a connecting door to room 2. These rooms can be rented as a suite. Contact us for availability.
Room 4
Queen size bed, shared bath.
This room also has a faux fireplace in addition to the queen size bed and antique dresser. There is a small computer desk.
Room 5
Queen size bed, private bath.
On the second floor with a queen size bed and a beautiful new bathroom with a soaker tub.
Room 6
Double bed, shared bath.
An economical room for two people with an antique double bed.
Room 7
Queen size bed, fireplace, private bath.
At the back of the house on the second floor. Queen size brass bed and a couch for relaxing as you sit in front of the fireplace. A door leads from the room to the back balcony.
Room 8
Queen size bed, private bath.
Very large room on the third floor with faux fireplace and gabled ceiling. Has a very special charm.

Double bed, shared bath.
Cozy with a cathedral like ceiling.
